I have almost forty years experience working as a professional artist and Illustrator. I continue to be an enthusiastic and prolific painter and my work can regularly be found in local exhibitions and galleries.

Artist Jim enjoys the challenge of capturing the elusive light and texture that filters through Scottish forests and mountains.
Subsequently, he finds himself constantly striving to create drama and atmosphere in my paintings.
Working mostly in watercolour he enjoys the spontaneity and unpredictability of the medium.
