Visual Artist Carol works mostly in textile and reclaimed materials and has always loved making things.
She lives in the North East Scotland and takes much of her inspiration from the beautiful coastlines and harbours nearby.
She'd often be found, even from being a wee lassie, with a pair of scissors and a bit of fabric making Sindy clothes.
Re-purposing things into new artwork is her specialist art and likes nothing better than rummaging in a junk shop.
She loves all things vintage and can't say no to lovely things!
As you can see, most of my designs have a strong accent on Christmas, my favourite time of the year.
It’s very satisfying creating something beautiful from inanimate objects.
Pleasure and Dee-light
Ultimately, the real satisfaction comes from the pleasure of seeing the delight on a customers face once completed.
I hope you find something on the web site to suit your needs. If you don’t you can always make a request via the form and I’ll try my best to accommodate custom designs.
Artist Jim enjoys the challenge of capturing the elusive light and texture that filters through Scottish forests and mountains.
Subsequently, he finds himself constantly striving to create drama and atmosphere in my paintings.
Working mostly in watercolour he enjoys the spontaneity and unpredictability of the medium.
